Makeup: Brights

I haven't done a makeup look for a while so I'm going to try to post some more often. I thought I'd wear some of my new makeup products from Makeup Revolution as I'm a bit obsessed with them at the moment, I just want to buy everything!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm In Unapologetic

I saw some swatches of the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic on a few blogs and it looked like such a gorgeous colour, I had to go buy one for myself.

It's lovely to apply to the lips and I quite like the chubby lipsticks, I have some similar ones from Nyx.

This is really long lasting and it stayed on my lips for hours even after eating which is pretty good.

Review: Models Own Speckled Polish In Duck

I absolutely love the speckled nail polishes, they remind me so much of mini eggs which I love! I think I'm going to be wearing this polish a lot this year, it's definitely a favourite this month. I only bought the blue one from the collection as it's the one I liked the look of most. I will probably end up buying some of the others though as they all look really lovely.

I applied 2 coats on my nails, without a top coat. It lasted about 3-4 days before it started to chip off which I'm pretty pleased with. Usually nail polish just seems to chip off my nails so quickly.

I actually forgot to take a photo straight after I applied the polish so the below photos are after about 4 days and you can see there are a few chips but they're not looking too bad.

New Bedroom Curtains

I think I may have mentioned in a previous post that I'm currently re-decorating my bedroom, which is so exciting! I've only painted the walls white and bought some new curtains so far. I'm going to have one of the walls wallpapered with a pink flower design so I wanted some curtains that would go with that. I'd been surfing on the internet for ages looking for some curtains that were pink or had pink flowers when I came across these beautiful curtains on Amazon. They aren't proper curtains really but they are so pretty and girly.

It took me a while to put them up as I had to keep looking at the picture, they don't look exactly the same but they do look lovely.

They also came with ties to tie back the curtains, I've just got them wrapped round my bedposts at the moment but I'm going to get a new bed soon so may have to get some little hooks in the wall or leave the curtains hanging down. Not sure at the moment.
