Baking: Sprinkle Cupcakes

Since moving into my flat in November I've only just started making cakes again. I didn't have a whisk to mix the ingredients but my mum has now lent me hers until I get my own one.

Today I thought I'd make some simple cupcakes with icing and sprinkles.

Ingredients

4oz margarine

4oz sugar

4oz self raising flour

2 eggs

icing sugar

water

sprinkles

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C. 

Measure out ingredients and pour into a bowl. 

Mix all ingredients together until smooth.

Scoop mixture into cases.

Put in oven for 12 minutes until lightly browned.

Leave to cool.

Mix together some icing sugar and water in a bowl until thick.

Pour icing over cupcakes and add sprinkles.

Haul: Primark March 2015

I haven't bought anything from Primark in a while so after my last pay day I thought I'd do a little shopping. Most of the items I bought are actually pyjamas and underwear but as I spend most of my time in them they are needed.

Haul: Makeup Revolution

As I've not been feeling too great lately I've been doing a bit of retail therapy so there will be a few haul posts coming your way. Today's haul contains lots of makeup products all from Makeup Revolution.

I'm trying to find a concealer that's light enough for my skin so I bought their Matte Effect Concealer in Fairest and their Focus & Fix Liquid Concealer in Fairest, hopefully one of them will be match me. I did want to get the new Naked Chocolate Palette but it was out of stock so I got the Death By Chocolate Palette instead. I also bought a couple of their All Day & Night Eyeliners in The Last Laugh and Lustful Ways.

As I have no self control I bought my self some more lipsticks to add to my huge collection. I got 3 of the Atomic lipsticks in Serpent, Make It Right and Make Me Tonight and 2 of the I Heart Makeup Lip Geek Lipsticks in Smile Is The Best Makeup and Love The Confidence.

I made my order over the Valentine's weekend when they had an offer on so I got the full set of I Heart My Lips lipsticks for free which includes 6 shades, Racing Heart, Heart Attack, Beating Heart, Rising Pulse, Heart Is Pumping and Irregular Heartbeat.

In total this cost me £21.95 which I think is really good for the amount of products I got.

Life Update: February 2015

Just a quick post to keep you all updated on my whereabouts as you may have noticed that I've not been posting much lately and I do have a few reasons for this. I won't go into too much detail but basically:

• I'm anaemic and have been extremely tired the past couple months.
• My depression and anxiety has taken a nose dive and got a lot worse lately, I've made an appointment with the doctor so hopefully he'll have some suggestions to help with this.
• It's very cold in my flat at the moment as some of my windows let in a draft so I've just wanted to bundle up in blankets all the time. Someone's finally coming round next week to look at them though.
• Lastly, the light in my flat is terrible for taking photos, I'm hoping maybe in a month or two I'll be able to buy some studio lights so I won't have to worry about this.

Overall, January has not been a very good month for me and neither has February so far but I'm hoping by the time March gets here things will start to look better.
