Haul: Primark, H&M, Tesco & Boots

At the weekend me and my mum went on a lovely shopping trip to Lakeside in Essex and I thought I'd show you what I bought.

First up is Primark, I got this gorgeous pyjama set with unicorns on. I love unicorns. The top was £3 and the pants were £5. I've been wearing them the last couple of nights and they are really comfy.

Next I got just a plain pink tank top which was £2.50. It's quite stretchy and I already have one in black which is quite comfortable.

The last item I bought from Primark was a unicorn top which is a little bit sheer and only £4.

Next up is H&M and I only bought one item from here. A loose sheer white top with a black skull made from flowers. This was £9.99. Buy at H&M

Next shop is Boots where I bought some beauty products.

First up is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic, I've seen a few swatches of this on the web and just had to get it as the colour looks gorgeous. This was £7.99. Buy at Boots

Next I got the Models Own Speckled Egg Polish in Duck. Illamasqua have a similar polish to this which I have wanted for ages but I just couldn't spend about £14 on it so I'm so pleased Models Own have brought out this collection. This was £5. Buy at Boots

Next I bought the Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover, I love this, it's so quick and easy to use and removes most polishes quite well. This was £2.79. Buy at Boots

Last item from Boots was the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I wanted to try this out for applying my foundation. I have been using a normal foundation brush but it leaves the foundation looking a bit streaky so this brush should stop that. This was £9.99. Buy at Boots

The last few items I bought are from Tesco. First up are some candles, the scent is damson and pomegranate and you get 27 in a pack. This was £1.75.

Next is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in 010 Light Porcelain. I've been wanting to get a new foundation for a while, I wanted something reasonably cheap and a shade that matches which is always a challenge. I tried this out in the shop so hopefully this is the right shade. This was £7.

Lastly I bought a couple of stationary items, I love stationary and these were so pretty. A little flowery A5 notebook for £4 and a flowery folder for £3.50. I shouldn't have bought the folder really as I have too many but I really liked it.

I'll be trying out the beauty products soon and putting up posts on them.

Review: Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer

Last week I finished up my current concealer from Nyx so I needed to get myself a new one. As I haven't got much money at the moment I needed a cheap one so popped over to Boots. I found the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer and at only £4.19 I thought I'd give it a try. I bought the lightest shade called Fair.

I've used this concealer quite a few times now and I quite like it. It's a liquid formula which is what I prefer for concealers. The colour match is quite good, I have a lot of trouble finding concealers and foundations to match my skin. The only problem is that this doesn't completely cover my dark circles, I'm on a mission to find a concealer that does. Sometimes my dark circles can be quite bad, I've got quite delicate skin and I think it might partly be because I wear glasses so I'm trying to wear my contact lenses more and see if the dark circles improve.

You can buy this from Boots for £4.19

Do you know any good concealers for dark circles?

DIY: Lip Scrub

I've been wanting a lip scrub for a while and I know Lush do a few but I can't bring myself to go in the shop as the smell is just so strong it puts me off. Instead I thought I'd make one myself as I didn't think it would be too difficult so I went over to Google to find a recipe. The one I found was off WikiHow and most of the ingredients you would have in your kitchen anyway.
Lip Scrub

Ingredients
Olive oil
Honey
Sugar
Flavouring (optional)
Colouring (optional)

First you put a tablespoon of caster sugar in a bowl then add half a teaspoon of olive oil and mix together. Next add a dribble of honey and mix. That's pretty much it and then you can add flavouring and colouring if you want. I added a bit of vanilla essence to mine but didn't add any colouring as it can stain your lips a little. Also, as all the ingredients are edible you can just lick it off your lips after.

February's box is based on romance and they designed a special kisses print box which is gorgeous.

Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe - Stick It Up Gum
Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe - Stick It Up Gum
This product holds and controls hair for a smooth, shiny finish. I don't really need to use products like this as I have long hair and it's kind of a waxy texture which I'm not too keen on.

Eldora - Eyelashes H103
Eldora - Eyelashes H103
I already own quite a few pairs of eyelashes from Eldora, they have a huge selection and are reasonably cheap. This pair look lovely and full, can't wait to wear these.

Ciate London - Paint Pot Raspberry Collins

Ciate London - Paint Pot Raspberry Collins
This is a lovely hot pink colour, I love it. I'm not keen on the shape of the bottle as I find it a bit uncomfortable to hold but It does look quite pretty with the little bow on the front. It lasted quite well on my nails too.

Full size - £9 - Buy at Ciate

Nougat London - Sparkling Body Shimmer
Nougat London - Sparkling Body Shimmer
This body lotion contains mallow extract, vitamin E and wheatgerm, it leaves skin smelling lovely and sparkling. I don't use shimmer lotions as I find them quite fake as your skin doesn't naturally shimmer and I just don't feel like I need to wear them.

Full size - £14 - Buy at Nougat

Maybelline New York - Master Kajal Liner

This is a cream stick liner in black. I really like this, it goes on so smoothly and you can blend it out if you want a more smudged look.

Also, as an extra treat they sent a Lindt Lindor treat bar. I don't actually like Lindt chocolate myself so I gave this to my mum.
