Review: Sleek Face Form Contouring And Blush Palette In Fair

I've not really tried contouring before and pretty much all the bloggers and youtubers do it so I thought I'd give it a try. Firstly I needed to find a product that wasn't too dark as my skin is pretty pale. I came across the Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette in Fair, the colours looked good and there was a pretty blush included. I bought this from Boots for £9.99.

I recently tried this out in my previous post Wedding Party Makeup And Outfit. I didn't want to go too mad on my first try so I just applied a little. I used the contour under my cheekbones and down the side of my nose. The highlight on my brow bone, down the centre of my nose and tops of my cheeks then the blush on my cheeks, of course!

The contour colour is a light matte brown, the highlight is a light shimmery peach colour and the blush is a really beautiful shimmery light terracotta. I really like the colours and I will certainly be using this more. They apply lovely and are really easy to blend. I like their packaging too, it's very sleek!

The dress I wore is from New Look for £14.99.

I think this dress would also be great for going to a day wedding. I was going to wear some heels but as I haven't worn any for a while I thought I'd stick to flats. The shoes are from H&M, I bought them a year or 2 ago.

I haven't really done any outfit posts before as I'm not happy with my size at the moment but I'm changing that so hopefully they'll be plenty more outfit posts in the future.

Haul: Makeup

Over the past few weeks I've bought quite a bit of makeup. I have a serious addiction! I still want to buy more and I'm sure I have enough already.

I thought I'd just do a post to show you all the makeup that I've bought and then do separate posts later on once I've tried the products out.

Review: Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick

I received a couple of the Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipsticks from my mum's friend the other week. I don't think I've ever tried lipsticks from Maybelline before so it will be good to see what they're like. The two shades I got are On And On Pink and Ultimate Blush.

They are quite nice colours and they have a shimmery/frosty finish.

When applying these they did seem to drag a bit which then made my lips a little sore. I also found them a bit drying on my lips.

I wore these for about 7 hours and they were starting to wear off around then so they don't actually last 14 hours, on me anyway. They were still on after eating and drinking though so that's good.

Overall, I'm not particularly impressed with these and I probably won't wear them again.
